Delete your account
Yee has two apps and two kinds of account. A customer account belongs to YeePro, a creator account to YeeGo. You delete each one on its own: deleting one never touches the other.
1. In the app
- Open YeePro to delete your customer account, or YeeGo to delete your creator account.
- Go to Settings, then Delete my account (in the Danger zone section).
- Read what will be deleted and what will be kept, then confirm.
- The app signs you out. The account is deactivated at once.
2. By email
Write to gytis@goyee.app from the email address of your Google account and say which account you want deleted: the customer account, the creator account, or both. We start the same steps as the button in the app.
3. What happens next
- The account is deactivated at once and deleted for good 30 days later. Until then you cannot sign in to it.
- Changed your mind? Write to gytis@goyee.app before that day and we cancel the request. Orders and listings that were closed are not reopened; you simply start again.
- A customer's open orders are closed at once: a running order is cancelled and an order waiting for your choice ends with nothing bought.
- A creator's listings are taken off the market at once. A photo set you already delivered on an order stays on sale until that order ends, and you are paid for it as usual.
- A creator's account waits until every payment on its way to you has arrived. The deletion then goes ahead on its own; you do not have to do anything.
4. What is deleted
- Your name, email address, phone number and profile photo.
- The link between your Google account and Yee. Signing in again with the same Google account creates a new, empty account.
- Your device tokens for notifications, and your saved card details.
- A creator's position, the link to their Stripe account, and every photo and video nobody bought.
- A creator's market listings and a customer's open orders.
This happens for the account you delete. If you keep the other account, your name and email address stay with it until that one is deleted too.
5. What is kept
- Order, purchase, payout and refund records, as accounting law requires. They carry an account number, not your name.
- Files somebody bought, and their previews, for the buyer, for the time the app showed them.
- Messages you sent about an order and the ratings you gave, shown to the other side as written by a deleted user.
- The record of which terms and policy you accepted, and when.
- Download records and dispute evidence, for as long as a payment can be disputed at a bank.
- Evidence of suspected illegal content, for as long as the law requires.
- Reports you made or received, and blocks, because they belong to the account record.
- Records of uploads the authenticity checks refused.
- After your last account is deleted, we keep your email address, your name and your payment-provider identifiers for 12 months in a restricted change history that only a platform administrator can read. We keep them so we can answer a card dispute or a lawful request from an authority that arrives after the deletion (GDPR Article 17(3)(b) and (e)). After 12 months they are deleted for good.
How long each kind of data is kept is in the Privacy Policy.
